Do not read this if you intend to sue

It's Marcus Schenkenberg!!!! Is he hot or what??!! I've been nuts over him since I-don't-know-when. I had him as my wallpaper on my laptop while at Uni and I had a poster of him stuck on my cupboard at Uni. So it was really nice to see something this wonderful every morning as I was getting my clothes out and getting ready to go out. This chap, apparently, is smart because he's supposed to have some degree in Economics. Then again, perhaps not. He was obviously not smart enough that's why he was with Pamela 'Baywatch' Anderson (YUCKSSSS!!!!) for a while. I mean.. get a smart woman, like me! OK, I'm probably less than half her size, that's why. But I’m smarter than that silicon that prances up and down the beach. I think every part of her is silicon, including the brain. Oops! Better watch my words. I may get sued.

I have to get this off my chest. Singaporean drivers. Rude to the core.(ooohh..better be careful. I may get sued.)
1. Always cutting into another lane WITHOUT signalling.
2. Always giving that "What's your problem look".
3. Always failing to give way to another driver who is POLITELY merging into lane.
4. Always giving that elbow sign. (don't know how to say it)
5. Always flashing their headlights because they demand their right of way.

You see, just yesterday, I went to my Grandpa's for dinner. I was only a few metres away from his gate and I went a little bit into the lane that was for the opposite direction because I had to drive towards the gate, which was located somewhere 'in-between' the 2 lanes. A car in the opposite direction came from the corner and I stopped to let the driver pass. I was at a super slow speed anyway, since I was approaching my stop. The other driver and me exchanged looks. I did that to acknowledge her right of way. And guess what?! She had to do #4 (the elbow thing) at me! Good grief!! Just because she's some middle aged woman she gave me the #4. I was really annoyed. Seriously, I didn't mean to go into that lane. If it's fault she's trying to find, then blame the architect or builder who built my Grandpa's house or the fellas who designed the road. The gate so happened to be located in-between the lanes.. could I help it?! I think that #4 was totally uncalled for. I didn't stoop to her level and do a #4 at her but gosh..how rude was that!

See, it's reasons like this that make me wonder if Singaporeans are ever educated at all. So much for being a society of people with graciousness. I'm sorry to say this but this Little Red Dot is a far cry from it. It is indeed a shame to have campaign after campaign to remind the population to be polite and be gracious. Excuse me here, but if a thousand years of domestic law has not stopped murderers, how can 40 years of campaigns be sufficient to cultivate courtesy and grace?

Everything here is so engineered and orchestrated. We are told to show our patriotism by being told when to put up the national flag and when to take it down. I haven't seen that elsewhere. If one is patriotic, one is. There is no need to be told what to do and when to do. And yes, HOW to do. If that be the case, I'd rather not do the flag thing. So much for freedom of speech. I should be free to display my patriotism but no, here, I am told that there is a time to do so.
Looks like it's a Little Red Dot in a little red dot.
