A little overdue

This is a little overdue but I only just got to watch Season 6 of Sex & the City. Thanks to my fantastic cousin, I finally got down to getting a DVD player & spent the last couple of nights watching Season 6. It ended on a high, except for the fact that I don't understand why Carrie & Big got back together (can't stand him!) It's so sad that they aren't going to continue the series because I absolutely love it. Then again, it might get draggy & lame if it drags on for too long - the lines become boring/corny, etc. (Like F.R.I.E.N.D.S - I love the series but I got bored after too much of it)

I must say that SATC has been most educational. The characters in the series, though exaggerated at times, are real & most women can relate to the characters in one way or another. Their friendship is genuine & makes every woman feel proud of her girl friends. Apart from the relationship issues that is central to the series, SATC has certainly heightened my fashion awareness. Thanks to SATC, I know who/what Manolo Blahniks are & it has given me confidence to run after a bus on 4 inch pretty things. It has taken my idea of glam & chic to higher levels. And who do I want to look like? Charlotte - Park Avenue Princess. Which character do I see a lot of myself in? Miranda. Unfortunately, I do not look as glam because I do not have a wardrobe manager who looks into my clothes, shoes, bags & hair every moment I'm awake nor do I have the luxury of not repeating my clothes, shoes, bags & hair.

Oh well, sod it! It's just a TV series. Controversial it may be, but no woman can deny that it is one damn good series that makes being a woman such much joy & fun. And it's something the guys don't get to enjoy ;)
