Ice-cream delight

Hurray! Ben & Jerry's just opened in Suntec City opposite Carrefour. I had an ice-cream before heading off to the gym 2 hours later. Heh! Going to the gym now seems so much more meaningful. I shall let the Law of Diminishing Marginal Utility (remember, JC1 Econs in Law of Demand? :p) set in & by then, I should be totally broke & 10kg heavier. I remember seeing a B&J Scoop Shop along Broadway in NYC but I never stepped in & succumbed to it. Perhaps because I was on the bus so not quite in the mood to walk back just to get a scoop. But hey, hey, hey..it's here now!

I was discussing with friend (Tessa) about the difference between Ben & Jerry's versus Haagan Daaz. Frankly speaking, I think I prefer B&J. HD is good but I think in terms of friendly factor, it's doesn't meet B&J. The first impression I had when I stepped into the B&J cafe was that it had a friendly feel, vis-a-vis HD, where it's more atas (classy). The deco, pictures, etc in B&J were just more down-to-earth. I do not dislike HD but well, I think B&J is nicer & the names of the different flavours of the ice-cream are a lot more funky & interesting. By the way, B&J comes in yoghurt version & low-fat version too!
