Moustache

I admit I'm one of those who do NOT find the moustache sexy. In fact, it's the one thing that turns me off when I look at a guy (oh, excuse me, there are instances of female moustache but that's just a case of bad grooming). It's not about the person but it's the moustache.

According to the Oxford dictionary, moustache is defined as "hair on either side or both side of the upper lip". The moustache is grown for various reasons:
1. A sign of wisdom (or perhaps too stupid to know how to operate a razor or shave)
2. A sign of virility (woe to the men who are bald..hahaha!)
3. A sign of one's position in society and in the military (in the past)
4. A fashion statement (call the fashion police, quick!)

According to Milly Me's dictionary, moustache is defined as "absolute turn-off". I'm sorry to those who have moustaches on their faces but really, it's not personal but it's the moustache. You can be sure that I would never date a guy with a moustache and neither will I marry a guy with one.

Has anyone seen how Brad Pitt looks when he does not shave? It's awful! Not picking on the moustache was bad but arrgghhh...when it becomes a full-grown beard...someone help! I wouldn't go near him, I wouldn't even think/dream/fantasise about kissing him. It's just a sign of laziness where personal grooming is concerned. Shame, shame, shame on someone who earns millions and wouldn't spend that little amount on grooming. Thank God though, that most of the time, he looks good.

I suppose the moustache is very subjective. While it is sexy to some, it is a turn-off to some (like me!). I'm just grateful that women do not have moustaches, just fine facial hair. But sometimes, it gets rather obvious & it looks rather unpleasant on a woman. I know it isn't forgivable for me to be so discriminate against moustache but really, that patch of hair on the face has to go. There is nothing macho about it. In fact, the most macho man, my Dad, does not have a moustache & he still looks good & young for his age. So you see, moustaches have to go. I don't care what kind of fashion statement it makes (a la Salvator Dali) but as far as I'm concerned, keep the moustache away from me!

Better be careful of racist comments, dun wanna get arrested. You're against moustache but some religion/ race require this so indirectly you may be implicated... then again with your law degree you can prob fight your case.
