Ungracious Me

It's been a week since I've updated this blog - I've been pretty regular on the NY blog so if you've been reading, you'll know that I'm still in the cyberworld in as much as I am freezing my butt off in the Big Apple.

I don't know if you'll consider it being selfish & ungracious or it's my right. I was really annoyed when my Mum told me that my small aunt called to say that my car will be lent to small aunt's friend for a week! Can you imagine that?! I don't know who this person is & neither does this person know me, except, perhaps in name but otherwise, I feel as though the car is going to a complete stranger for a week! I raised my disapproval to my folks but they said that it's OK since they are going to be liable for whatever happens to the car, the petrol & all.

Obviously my folks didn't get the point. Hello?!! I wasn't even consulted & my small aunt conveniently said 'OK' to her friend & then called my Mum to tell her that. That's upsetting! I didn't even want to talk to my folks anymore about it lest I started screaming and/or have my Dad lecture me.

I bitched about this to Ros. Goodness me! She's such an angel - she said that I have to learn to be gracious. Yah! I'm the kiam kanna here. I'm not willing to let the car go to someone I do not know for a week! A week! Not a day but a week! How about if I took my uncle's car to be lent to my friend from UK for a week while he's away?! And I didn't tell him but I told my cousins that I'd be doing that. Gaaaaahhhh!!!!!!!!!!! Smack me the bitch up! AARRGGHH!!!

Its not about being gracious. Its a matter of principles - its not her name in the logbook, so it simply means that she does NOT have the right to give permission FIRST before asking the owner.
So you are quite right to be narked about it, but since its done, let it go. Not worth getting wrinkles over such prats.

Sigh, Gabby, I know. It's so irritating, isn't it? I heard it's some pastor friend of my aunt visiting from Oz. Hur hur..I wonder what they have to say about Madonna blasting in the CD player.

Sorry but I can't help but feel sour about having this happen.

It's okay woman, your car is personal. I'd be jittery lending my car to someone I know, don't talk about someone I don't know. Almost as bad as lending my swimsuit to a stranger. Yikes! *p
