Went to watch The Lake House with Ag last night. It was such a romantic film. Of course, the storyline doesn't make sense - how can people communicate across time? But all the impossibilities of cross-time communication and linking to the past, present & future were cleverly weaved into a beautiful love story.
Keanu Reeves still looks good though he's in his 40s & Sandra Bullock has a very sincere & kind look even though she, too, is in her four-Os. The chemistry between the 2 of them still works after all those years after Speed. And really, they played their characters very well.
And yes, the scenery & setting of the lake house was gorgeous. Romantic sunsets, nature all around, how can those 2 not fall in love...haha!

That's why it's only a film, you silly :p
Then again, it explores the notion of a parallel universe that is in co-existence with the one we are in. That's why the cross-time communication. But that, of course, is absolute bollocks. Otherwise, people would be writing to their loved ones to not board planes on Sept 11 2001...
OK, I'm digressing. It's time to sleep.
I watched the show too--I didnt get it....too out of this world for me!
