Are you happy?

I just took a survey on http://www.happyplanetindex.org/ and these are my results.

Your personal Happy Planet Index (HPI) is 26.1, which is similar to that of Zambia, Central African Republic or Belarus. Sorry to say that this is below the world average of 46. For those living in the UK, you’ll also be disappointed to hear your score is below the national average. Your score is below that of your country, 40.8.

The truth is out. It's official, that my life isn't picture perfect. something has to be done. It's not just me, but the entire nation, according to this article Vanuatu ranked as happiest place. How embarrassing or rather, how nice an awakening to remind us that we are just not "the best home to be". So much for being promised that we will live in "the best home to be". Or is it because we ask for too much?

Strange isn't it, that countries that lead the simple life are happy, like Vietnam is the happiest country while countries that are efficient & educated, like Singapore, are unhappy.

So next course of action: move to Vietnam or make things simpler here. Maybe I'll take the first course of action, but elsewhere. I'm thinking....

Heh! Either this test is really skewed or we are a generally unhappy lot because people I know who have taken this test have fared badly. Yikes!

ZH, that's because you're not in Singapore. Didn't you read the article, that Singapore is a very unhappy place to live in? QY worse - scored 18 :p
