Goodie two shoes

I know why designers charge so much for their clothes, bags, shoes, etc. They are quality. Simple as that. The Cole Haan shoes I got from New York are the best. They are so stylish and comfortable that I can wear them everyday for any occasion. However, the experts say that shoes should not be worn more than 2 days in a row so as to allow the shoes to air. So far, it hasn't failed me in the smell test. I suppose it's because it's full leather so I think there must be some sort of treatment they used in making the shoes. Besides, leather is au naturel, compared to synthetics which usually don't absorb too well, I *think*. And I can't believe it that I got it at a steal US$32, from its original price of US$195!!


Anyway, the mess on the left is a very badly organised shoe corner. They are all my shoes & I'm not ashamed to say that - only ashamed that they are not nicely arranged. Perhaps even more ashamed to say that there are still somemore & very, very ashamed to say that I only wear ermm...25% of these shoes on a regular basis. I know! I'm disgusting! But I only have a pair of feet and I cannot wear them all at one time!

I got rather upset when I discovered my Birkenstocks got mouldy (GASP!) after I came back from New York. It's terrible! I don't know why but Ag also has the same problems with her Birks. Washed them hard, sunned them & aired them for a while. I've got a dehumidifier next to the shoe rack & it's working pretty well. In fact, I put it all over the house & it's great even in the cupboards.


Oh yeah, I still haven't owned my pair of Manolos or Jimmy Choos. They are good shoes and hence, pricey for that reason. I've tried them on before and I swear I can run around, run after a bus in them heels. They are THAT steady. Goodbye wonky Charles & Keith heels & hello solid high sexy heels with Manolo or JC. That will be a long long long time before I own a pair. Please let me know if you know anyone who would buy me a pair. Thank you.
