I'm not going 'La la la' over the Kylie song, which by the way, is the song I've set as my alarm that wakes me up in the mornings. (How can anyone ignore this song?) The last few days, the song that's been ringing in my head & going on repeat/replay on the iPod is strangely, Elton John's 'The One'. How odd is that? That song is from ages ago. In fact, it was a hit back in the early 1990s when I was still in school. But you've got to admit it, that Elton John's music is good & very memorable. I bet you can even think of 5 songs he's sung, off-hand.
Now back to the Elton John song. Actually, I haven't heard that song in a long time but only got reminded of it some time ago in the gym when I was doing Body Balance. It was a track we used as a warm-up with tai chi moves - and really, it is a good song for tai chi. Mum does tai chi with a bunch of others in New York at Washington Sqaure Park and hey, she was able to move to that song. So you see, listening to the song alone is therapeutic in itself - Elton John's vocals and the music are fantastic. I feel calm listening to that song. So if I'm plugged into my iPod and looking really calm, you know why ;)
