Cross-roads

It looks like this year is a year of cross-roads. I may have mentioned about that work-wise & till now, I'm pretty sure what I plan to take as the next step in the months down the road. What happens after that is another thing altogether.

The next big thing to happen is that my parents are selling the house. This is the house we've lived in the last 16 years. This is where my brother & I, along with our cousins, grew up. So many things have happened in the last 16 years and it's time to close the chapter on this place we called home the past years wherever we were. It's a strange feeling, je ne sais quoi. Even things in the house have their own way of saying that it's time. The washing machine that has served us faithfully is getting tired. The cuckoo clock that has been hanging in the dining area was a gift from some family friends at our housewarming when we first moved in. It just stopped working.

Where we go from here, it's still a mystery. Afterall, at cross-roads, anywhere is a possibility.
