A life quite ordinary

Hello Earthlings again. I've not been abducted by The Others. I was floating zooming about the last couple of weeks & things are pretty much slower these days so I'm quite relieved. So here's a quick recap.

1. My 28th came & went. I'm officially in my 28th year of existence. I truly appreciate the presents from friends & colleagues :)

2. Marking machine mania. Yup. In the last 2 weeks or so, I marked a total of close to 600 exam scripts - English compositions & Literature essays. Amazing that I'm still able to sit in front of the computer & type this.

3. The Idiot Box. Starting 2 Oct, I got a couple more new channels on my cable package. While I enjoy watching clever programmes on NatGeo, Discovery, Travel & Living, Home & Health, BBC Prime (ermm..some of the shows on this channel can be rather silly. Not in the slap-stick silly way but think Absolutely Fabulous & Red Dwarf..hee hee!), the channels that really have me these days are Channel V, E! & haha..I kid you not, Boomerang. Even when I'm not in front of the TV, I usually leave either of these channels on. Oh yeah, and Soundtrack Channel too. Just this weekend, they have been showing America's Next Top Model back-to-back on Channel V. Speaks volumes about me :p

4. Sorted out my trip to visit the USA to holiday with my folks. I can't wait!!

5. Counting down to the 3 year mark... ;)

So yes. That's my life in general. I wish I could type in a little more but Channel V & salad beckons. Maybe next time.
